Although, there were five complaints in 2014.She has some advice for parents; don’t be pressured into paying big money up front.“If a talent agency is demanding to charge any kind of fee, whether they label that as a consultation fee, a registration fee, an administration fee, something like that — be wary of that,” says Brownridge.She also says you should check the professional affiliations or credentials. The Alliance of Canadian Cinema, Television and Radio Artists has information about talent agencies on its website.Brownridge says remember, talent agencies are not employers.They represent clients and try to get them work and can’t guarantee jobs.
